Griffith Base Hospital Redevelopment

The Griffith Base Hospital (GrBH) Redevelopment project will establish a modern healthcare facility to enhance clinical services for Griffith and nearby Local Government Areas. Designed by Daryl Jackson Robin Dyke Architects, the master plan allows for future expansion and creates open spaces for the community.

Brian plays a pivotal role in the construction phase, collaborating with engineers and consultants to ensure the building meets the highest standards and contractual requirements. He is currently addressing fire safety and Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliance issues with the fire safety engineer and Building Code of Australia (BCA) consultant, ensuring adherence to Australian standards and Health Facility Guidelines.

As of 2024, the project is under construction and is proceeding with staged completion, enabling the contractor to obtain Occupation Certificates for parts of the hospital without delaying the overall completion date, which is set for 2026.
